【Graphite Electrodes】Surge in China's Graphite Electrode Exports to South Korea, India, and Mexico in March
In March 2024, China's graphite electrode exports reached 25,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 5.17% and a year-on-year decrease of 11.35%. Among the export destinations, Russia, India, and Turkey were the top three, with Russia leading at 2,370 tons, followed closely by India and Turkey at 1,720 tons and 1,590 tons, respectively.
Notably, there was a significant increase in graphite electrode exports from China to South Korea, India, and Mexico in March. Exports to South Korea rose by 31.01% month-on-month, those to India saw a surge of 248.41%, and exports to Mexico increased by an astonishing 321.26%. Additionally, the proportion of large-scale graphite electrodes in these countries has been steadily increasing.
