Regarding profitability, 69.33% of steel mills reported marginal profits, indicating acceptable profit levels. Most manufacturers extended production hours and intensified output. Graphite electrode production continued at low capacity; any improvement in downstream demand could support price increases for electrodes.

As the heating season approaches, production in certain regions will be affected by environmental policies. Some graphite electrode enterprises plan to reduce their calcination process output to comply with future production restrictions. Those temporarily halted are focusing on clearing inventory, while some with low stock plan to resume operations to replenish basic inventory. Overall, the graphite electrode market has shown no significant changes, with production and sales remaining stable.
