01. Graphite Electrodes

According to customs statistics, China's graphite electrode export volume in October 2025 was 28,100 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 8.23% and a year-on-year increase of 14.4%.
From January to October 2025, China's total graphite electrode exports reached 295,000 tons, up 6.91% year-on-year.
The major export destinations for China's graphite electrodes in October 2025 were: the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Angola.

02. Needle Coke

Oil-based Needle Coke

According to customs statistics, China imported 10,600 tons of oil-based needle coke in October 2025, up 168.12% year-on-year but down 3.29% month-on-month.
From January to October 2025, the cumulative import volume of oil-based needle coke was 81,700 tons, an increase of 15.41% year-on-year.
The main import origins in October 2025 were the United Kingdom and Russia, with import volumes of 5,100 tons and 3,800 tons respectively.
China's export volume of oil-based needle coke in October 2025 was approximately 3,523 tons.

Coal-based Needle Coke

According to customs statistics, China imported 8,500 tons of coal-based needle coke in October 2025, a month-on-month increase of 22.07% and a year-on-year increase of 72.34%.
From January to October 2025, cumulative imports of coal-based needle coke reached 68,500 tons, up 3.83% year-on-year.
The major import countries in October 2025 were South Korea and Japan, with import volumes of 5,300 tons and 3,200 tons respectively.
