According to customs data, China's graphite electrode export market remained generally stable in April 2026. Total export volume reached 21,700 tons, up slightly by 0.20% month-on-month, basically unchanged from the previous month. Among them, graphite electrode exports to Russia reached 1,600 tons, up 176.46% month-on-month, showing a substantial increase; demand in the Turkish market declined, with graphite electrode exports to Türkiye reaching 1,600 tons, down 30.57% month-on-month; the Brazilian market maintained a steady recovery trend, with graphite electrode exports to Brazil reaching 1,600 tons, up 12.81% month-on-month.
Overall, demand among the major export destinations showed significant divergence this month. Russia's purchasing volume increased substantially, becoming the core driving force behind regional export growth.
