  • The price of domestic graphite electrode was partially adjusted this week. As of press release, the price of ultra-high power graphite electrode φ450 is quoted 20,000-20500 yuan/ton, and UHP graphite electrode φ600 is quoted 23,500-25,200 yuan/ton. High power graphite electrode φ300-500 is quoted 2,000-21,500 yuan/ton, regular power graphite electrode φ300-500 is quoted 18,500-20,000 yuan/ton, of which the price in Hebei rises by 1,000-1,500 yuan/ton, and the market transaction is not good.

  • At present, the operating rate of the domestic graphite electrode market is at a low level, most small and medium-sized manufacturers have stopped production. Affected by downstream demand, large manufacturers limit production by 30-50%, and some of them may stop production in late January. Affected by environmental protection policies, most regions in Hebei have stopped production. The price of high-power graphite electrode and regular power graphite electrode is high, and the inventory of ultra-high-power graphite electrode is low, so the price rises with it.
