According to the statistics of 24 local petroleum coke production enterprises in China, needle coke plants production operation at an average of 44% in February, 5% lower than last month and 9 % higher than the same period last year. Anshan and Baowu produced pitch coke, Hengxin new materials started, some petroleum enterprises reduced production load or shut down, and some manufacturers reduced raw coke production and increased calcined needle coke production, resulting in an overall decline in the needle coke output.
Needle coke enterprises monthly output
The output of needle coke in February was 83900 tons, a decrease of 13400 tons or 13.77% over the previous month. The output of coal series needle coke was 7300 tons, and that of petro series needle coke was 76600 tons. The output of raw coke was 55000 tons and that of calcined coke was 28900 tons.
