Improved effect of the shutdown of Acheson graphitization furnace
1 Improved effect
1.1 Improvement of the unqualified rate of graphitization
After the graphitization shutdown judgment method is improved, mainly for the electro-oxidation unqualified rate has been greatly improved get the super quality graphite eletrode products. Take SHP electrode as an example, Table 4 is the actual production data.
It can be seen from Table 4 that by improving the judgment measures for shutting down the furnace, the electro-oxidation unqualified rate has been reduced from 1.11% to 0.00%, and the improvement effect is very obvious.
1.2 Improvement of product characteristics (resistivity)
After the graphitization shutdown judgment method is improved, the resistivity deviation of each furnace product is reduced, the electric quantity is effectively controlled, and the resistivity tends to be rationalized. Take Φ600 mm UHP electrode as an example, table 5 is the actual production data.
1.3 Cost reduction
Through the implementation of optimized shutdown judgment standards, the unit power consumption has been greatly reduced. The unit consumption before SHP electrode optimization is 3 695 kW·h/t, and after optimization is 3 659 kW·h/t, which is a reduction of 36 kW·h/t. If calculated according to the annual output of SHP electrode 6 000t, the annual energy saving can be 216 000 kW·h.
2 Concluding remarks
Through the implementation of optimized shutdown judgment standards, it is not only possible to improve the unqualified rate of graphitization and ensure the quality of graphitized products, but also to reduce the difference in resistivity of different furnace products, so that the resistivity tends to be rationalized; it can also reduce unit consumption of electricity and reduce production cost. For enterprises, this is undoubtedly a major move to reduce costs and increase efficiency to view more graphite news contact us.
