【Import and Export】China's Monthly Statistics on Needle Coke Imports (April 2023)

In April 2023, China's total imports of needle coke amounted to 13,300 metric tons, representing a 15.06% decrease compared to the previous month. Calcined coke import & export data for reference.  Among them, imports of coal-based needle coke reached 5,300 metric tons, showing a 55.8% decrease month-on-month, with an average import price of $1,101.62 per ton, down by 0.38% compared to the previous month. Imports of petroleum-based needle coke reached 8,000 metric tons, indicating a 115.95% increase month-on-month, with an average import price of $1,352.24 per ton, up by 2.04% compared to the previous month.
